Readyline Drill Deck is a deck of knowledge-discussion prompts for informal company training. It asks questions. It does not give tactical orders.
1. Knowledge drills, not tactical directives
Every drill in this deck is built to start a conversation — about construction, fire behavior, equipment, communication, and craft. Nothing in this app is an instruction for how to operate at an incident. Where a drill touches operational subjects, it asks your crew to discuss, compare, and look things up — it does not tell anyone what to do on a fireground.
Some drills include an optional facilitator note for the officer running the drill. These notes suggest how to steer the discussion — what to prompt, what a good answer sounds like, what misconception to listen for. They are not answer keys and do not state operational facts as authoritative. The correct answers come from your crew's knowledge and your department's guidelines, not from this app.
2. Your department's SOGs govern — and the deck sends you to them
Many drills deliberately end with a look-up: "What does OUR department's guideline say?" That is by design. The correct answers to operational questions live in your department's standard operating guidelines, policies, and training program — not in this app. If anything here seems to conflict with your department's procedures, your department is right and this app is wrong.
3. Not official training documentation
The drill log in this app is an informal convenience for your own memory. It is not an official training record. Document company training through your department's required system, in accordance with its policies. No representation is made that use of this app satisfies any training requirement, standard, or ISO criterion.
4. Content is generic and national-level
Drills reference broadly taught fire service concepts. They are written for discussion value, not as authoritative statements. Verify anything you intend to rely on against your department's training materials and current standards.
5. For the officer running it
This app is intended for fire service professionals and trainees, 18 or older. You know your crew, your district, and your department's expectations — this deck is raw material for your judgment, not a replacement for it.
6. Your data stays on this device
